Award is for construction only and does not cover design and engineering oversight activities. Construction activies include the removal and replacement of the bridge deck, vehicle crash barrior, decorative railing and lighting. The pin and hanger connections to the superstructure will be replaced and upgraded as part of this project as well. In addition, the bridge will be repainted. Based on accepted bid the approved ARRA funds are capped at $ 9,539,618.
