Project Description

The Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office (MCAO) seeks funding to pay for technological upgrades and integrations necessary to complete e-charging and e-citation initiatives already in the planning stages through HJIP and PPM workgroups within Hennepin County. In addition, the office seeks to make improvements to the internal architecture of the system to enhance the ability to perform document storage, sharing and searching capabilities. The implementation of those initiatives will result in significant time and money savings for the MCAO, the Court, and their criminal justice partners. Automating the process will also allow the Courts to consistently receive more accurate and timely charging information.
