Financial Assistance and College Scholarships
- Since 2006, the Power of YOU program has covered two years or up to 72 credits of full tuition and fees for 640 low-income students at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Saint Paul College or Metropolitan State University.
- This year, Augsburg College joined as a partner in the Power of YOU. Students can receive $15,000 if they live off campus and $18,000 if they live on campus. There are 25 promise grants available for Minneapolis students.
- The U of MN Founder’s Program (now U Promise Free Tuition) has given aid to over 350 Minneapolis students.
