MAFIN

MAFIN (Midwest Automated Fingerprint Identification Network) is a computerized tri-state network used for the purpose of identifying fingerprint and latent prints in order to aid in ongoing investigations. The MAFIN Section also has the ability to search the FBI fingerprint database against latent prints and is available to all law enforcement agencies, both within and outside the State of Minnesota upon request. This section also maintains the fingerprint files for all Minneapolis City entities.
