Field Operations
The Field Operations Section conducts crime scene processing and examination 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. This includes the collection, preservation and limited analysis of evidence. Other functions of the section include crime scene sketching and mapping, preparation of charts for court or evidentiary purposes, forensic photography and video, latent print development and identification, blood spatter analysis, footwear impression analysis and crime scene reconstruction.
