Report on health and safety concerns for workers in adult entertainment businesses

What:               Researchers at the University of Minnesota’s Urban Research Outreach-Engagement Center (UROC) present their report, Workplace Perspectives on Erotic Dancing, to members of the Health, Environment & Community Engagement Committee.

When:              1:30 p.m. Monday, March 27

Where:            City Council Chamber, Room 317, City Hall, 350 S. Fifth St.

MORE:             This first-of-its-kind study in Minneapolis takes a focus on health and safety issues for entertainers who work in adult businesses. UROC conducted the research documenting workers’ experiences with funding from the Minneapolis Health Department and the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota.

                        After the presentation, members of the research team and community advisory group will be in Room 319 (across the hall from the City Council Chamber) to answer questions about the study.
