This conference is specifically designed for neighborhood organizations, cultural communities, nonprofit organizations, City departments and residents to share best practices of neighborhood engagement. This year’s conference theme – Common Ground: A City That Works for All - aims to help attendees hone their organizational and communication skills, learn how to better work with and influence city government, and build broad-based efforts that involve all segments of our increasingly diverse spectrum of neighborhoods and community-at-large.
The conference includes a keynote address by Dr. Verna Cornelia Price, more than 35 workshops, and a post-conference social gathering.

Register for an Exhibitor Table
We invite you to present your ideas, experiences and knowledge as an exhibitor at the 2nd Annual Community Connections Conference.
- Exhibitor tables are an excellent way to promote your services or work, launch a new idea, or simply network with a wide range of participants.
- As an exhibitor, you will also be featured within our Community Connections Conference program that is provided to each conference participant.
- Hosting an exhibitor table exposes you to a large group of active residents and neighborhood organizations who are looking for information, ideas and assistance to help them further their work.
The cost for an exhibitor space is free to neighborhood organizations and non-profits with operating budgets of $250,000 or less. The cost will be $100 for government, for-profit and large non-profit agencies. For more details and to register for an exhibit table, please download the exhibitor registration packet.
The 2nd Annual Communities Connections Conference is being planned by representatives from neighborhood organizations, the Neighborhood and Community Engagement Commission (NCEC) and City staff.
