One-sort residential recycling to resume rollout in Minneapolis on Earth Day
WHAT: Mayor R.T. Rybak and City Council Member Sandy Colvin Roy will deliver a one-sort recycling cart to a Minneapolis home.
WHEN: 11 a.m., Monday, April 22
WHERE: 2925 E. Minnehaha Pkwy.
MORE: In the second phase of Minneapolis’ one-sort residential recycling rollout, the 75,000 City of Minneapolis recycling customers who didn’t get new blue recycling carts last fall will get theirs by the end of June. Recycling customers will stay on the same schedule and keep the same recycling day as before. One-sort recycling is easy; all recyclable materials go into the one cart.
