Minneapolis a top 10 city for new college graduates

May 17, 2012 (MINNEAPOLIS) Recent college graduates who are looking for a place to live and work might want to consider Minneapolis. A new ranking from Rent.com says Minneapolis is one of the best cities for new college graduates. The list was based on unemployment rates, mean annual income, cost of living and rental inventory for the metropolitan areas.

Minneapolis was recognized for its unemployment being well below the national average and having a median annual income of nearly $50,000 while also being a great place for people who like the outdoors given the wealth of lakes and parks in the city.

The list of top 10 cities for new college graduates also includes Austin, Texas, Baltimore, Boston, Kansas City, Mo., and Washington, D.C.
