City offers assistance on starting a business in Minneapolis
For a week in October, the City of Minneapolis will offer in-person assistance every day on starting a business in Minneapolis. Entrepreneurs will be able to learn about available financing, site selection, and employment and training assistance. After that time, assistance will continue to be offered one day a week at the Minneapolis Development Review service center.
The City offers a variety of business support programs and staff will be available to discuss one-on-one with business owners and entrepreneurs. No appointment is necessary to take advantage of this assistance, which will be available daily from Oct. 19-23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon each week after that. Minneapolis Development Review is located in the Public Service Center at 250 S. 4th St., Room 300.
For more information, visit the Minneapolis Development Review website or call 3-1-1. The City is working to drive new business activity and new jobs in Minneapolis while increasing awareness of the tools and services the City provides to its business community.
