Used copiers for sale by bid process

As a result of a BIS Right-Sizing project which reviewed the City's use of printers, copiers and scanners, 143 used copiers of varying sizes and capabilities will be sold to the general public on an "as is" basis. Sealed bids for the used copiers on the "for sale" inventory must be received by 10:30 a.m., Sept. 25. Bids may be received for one or all of the items. City employees may also bid on the equipment.

The copiers, which are all in working order, will be available for pick up as they are replaced or removed from service between September and December 2009. Those with winning bids must pay and pick up the equipment within 10 days of notification from the Toshiba warehouse in Eagan. There is also an option of having the copier delivered for a fee. No copiers are available for pick up at City Hall.
