Crime Stoppers offers reward for information on backyard robbery cases

A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects involved in the backyard robbery cases over the Labor Day weekend in Minneapolis. The reward is being offered by the Crime Stoppers program which hopes to elicit information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects who targeted two late night backyard gatherings in the Hale neighborhood of the Third Precinct in south Minneapolis. At least one of the suspects was armed and one victim was shot following a confrontation with the suspects during the second holdup. That victim is recovering at HCMC.

The suspects in the 10th Avenue South case are described as black males 14 to 18 years old, about six feet tall with light builds. The suspects in the Chicago Avenue South case are described as black males 14 to 18 years old, 5’ 6" to 5’ 8" tall with light builds.
