Road work to close portions of Lake of the Isles Parkway, Lyndale Avenue South
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 20, The City of Minneapolis will close a portion of the Lake of the Isles Parkway, from Kenwood Parkway to 28th Street West to all traffic for six weeks for road surface work. Detours have been posted. To accommodate traffic, the Burnham Boulevard Bridge will be converted into a two-way roadway during the Lake of Isles Parkway closure.
This is the first of four phases of construction that the City of Minneapolis plans along the Lake of Isles Parkway this year. Watch for more information later this spring.
Lyndale Avenue South
A portion of Lyndale Avenue South from 50th Street South to Minnehaha Parkway will close on Monday, April 20 to allow Hennepin County and City of Minneapolis crews to reconstruct the road surface. This section of Lyndale Avenue will remain closed to all traffic for approximately six weeks.
This is part of Hennepin County's County State Aid Highway 22/Lyndale Avenue project between 56th Street and westbound Minnehaha Parkway in Minneapolis.
