Share a graffiti-prevention solution to help clean up your neighborhood
Have you found a way to prevent graffiti vandals from damaging your property? If so, the city wants to share it with your neighbors.
Residents can take a snapshot of their garages, homes, fences or any other surface that theyve made graffiti resistant and e-mail those images to the City. Pictures will be posted on the City's "graffiti solutions" Web page Graffiti Solutions – so others can put these ideas to good use.
Graffiti solutions may include:
- large, colorful murals on otherwise blank walls;
- thick ivy, shrubs or other plant cover on the sides of buildings; and
- fences with board gaps or lattices that do no provide a large, flat surface.
To submit a graffiti prevention idea, e-mail images and a brief description of the idea to GraffitiSolutions@minneapolismn.gov.
