Black History month events celebrate African-American art
February is Black History Month, a time that gives everyone a chance to learn more about the contributions of blacks to American culture, science, society, history and more.
To celebrate Black History Month the Minneapolis City Council and Hennepin County Commissioners are sponsoring " The Art and Soul of Black History," a series of events that will feature noted lecturers, artists and performances.
