Weight Watchers open house is Aug. 16
If you’d like to learn about joining the autumn session of Weight Watchers at Work, be sure to stop by a free, no-obligation open house on Tuesday, Aug. 16.
If 20 people commit to the program, the autumn session will begin shortly after Labor Day.
Each weekly Weight Watchers meeting runs from 12 to 12:30 p.m. and includes a confidential weigh-in that helps participants track their progress. (Weigh-ins begin at 11:30 a.m.) Meetings include a discussion on a weight loss topic and distribution of materials to take home. Discussion topics include: curbing stress eating, making healthy food choices, eating out, getting active, etc.
No advance registration is required to attend the open house, just come to Room 14 in the Public Service Center, 250 S. 4 th St., at noon on Aug. 16. If you can’t attend the open house but would like to learn more about the program, contact Sue Dufloth at (612) 673-2095 or [email protected].
If 20 people enroll, participants can take advantage of a 17-week program which includes free e-tools. The cost of the 17-week session is $186 (a little less than $11 per session) and payment can be made in three installments.
If your weight loss has been recommended by your physician, a form is available that can be completed and submitted with a receipt in order to use your flexible spending dollars or HRA/VEBA for reimbursement of the cost.
