The employee engagement survey, My Minneapolis, launches next week. Please take it as an opportunity to anonymously share your thoughts about your work environment at the City – your Minneapolis.
City employees are the reason for the City’s success, and City leaders want to make sure this is a workplace where you can succeed and know you are valued. The My Minneapolis Employee Engagement Survey can help.
The survey is fast and easy, and it works. You say what you think, and City leaders listen. Based on employee input from past surveys, positive changes were made to improve our work environment. Here are just a few of those changes:
- Alternative Work Arrangements Policy
- Minneapolis Matters employee newsletter
- Employee recognition program launching this year
Many more positive changes were made at the department level.
Please make your voice heard, and take the survey during your regular work hours May 19-June 6. The goal is for every employee to take the voluntary survey this year; every voice counts. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey online on your computer, tablet or smartphone. Paper copies are also available from your My Minneapolis communication team liaison.
