Free computer classes offered to City employees

In the coming months, you can take free instructor-led classes to learn or improve your skills in Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word. All classes are offered by the Human Resources Department and held in Room 13B at the Public Service Center, 250 S. Fourth St.

See what topics are covered in each class under the course descriptions on CityTalk. To enroll in a class, go to HRIS, click “Learning and Development” then “Search Catalog” and type a key word into the search text box (Excel or Word, for example).

Please note: Limited seats are available. Most classes are full or only have a few seats open. If the class is full, add it to your learning plan by clicking "Add to Plan.”  Adding the class to your learning plan will help course planners determine what additional classes should be offered. If enough people express interest in the class, additional dates and times will be added to the schedule soon.
