Elections and Voter Services office moves

The Elections and Voter Services Department will relocate from City Hall Room 1B to City Hall Room 201 Tuesday, March 11, as part of the City Hall building’s safety upgrade project. The move does not affect the office’s email addresses, phone numbers or fax numbers.

The move is just the most recent round of moves in a multi-staged plan to install new fire alarm, smoke detection and sprinkler systems as well as upgrade City Hall’s heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems. The project began in 2000 and, due to its scope, is being tackled in 23 stages that will be completed in 2016. Currently, the renovation has reached stage 18.

Watch for information on future office moves in Minneapolis Matters as the safety upgrade project continues.
