Yoga, Pilates, Boot Camp, Zumba and Totally Fit classes offered at downtown locations

If you’d like to reduce stress and increase your flexibility and strength, consider participating in one of these Downtown fitness classes.  New participants who register by Jan. 10 will receive a $4 discount.

Yoga

Yoga is a series of moves designed to help shed stress and increase flexibility. Classes begin Jan. 14; registration is due by Jan. 14.

Tuesdays: 12:10 - 12:55 p.m., suite 810 - Grain Exchange

Wednesdays: 12:10 - 12:55 p.m., suite 605 - IDS Center

Thursdays: 5 – 6 p.m., suite 510 – Parkside Professional Building

Zumba

Zumba is a cardio and calorie-burning workout done to Latin dance moves. Classes begin Jan. 13; registration is due by Jan. 10.

Mondays: 12:10 - 12:55 p.m., suite 810 - Grain Exchange

Pilates

Pilates strengthens your core, improves your posture, tones your muscles. Classes begin Jan. 17; registration is due by Jan. 16.

Fridays: 12:05 - 12:50 p.m., employee development classroom - Government Center

Totally Fit/Totally Fun

Total Fitness is a cardio and strength training workout that uses weights, resistance bands and stability balls. Classes begin Jan. 13; registration is due by Jan. 13.

Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays: 12:10 - 12:55 p.m., suite 605 - IDS Center

Boot Camp

Boot Camp includes a mix of 20 minutes of high intensity interval training routines and 20 minutes of strength training using free weights, other equipment and body weight. Research shows that it is the most efficient and effective way to improve your cardiovascular system, lose weight and build strength. Classes begin Jan. 14; registration is due by Jan. 13.

Cost

Drop-in rates are available. Any missed classes can be made up in other Fit to Live classes. Fees will be prorated if you join after a six-week session has begun.
