Upcoming events at the Minneapolis Convention Center

The Minneapolis Convention Center is a City-owned, state-of-the-art facility that hosts more than 500 events annually, drawing nearly a million attendees each year. Here are several events that will be held at the Convention Center in January.

North Star Roller Girls Roller Derby

The Convention Center is home to the Northstar Roller Girls, an all-female skater-owned and operated amateur roller derby league that plays Women's Flat Track Derby. The North Star Roller Girls League is comprised of four teams: the Banger Sisters, Delta Delta Di, Kilmore Girls, and the Violent Femmes.

Trackside seating: $14 - advance / $16 - game day
Chair seating: $13 - advance / $15 - game day
Bleacher/standing: $12 – advance / $14 – game day
Kids ages 9 and under – free with an adult

Healthy Life Expo 2012

The Healthy Life Expo features nearly 100 exhibitors showcasing nutrition, fitness and health products and services. Seminars are scheduled for both days.

Wedding Fair

The wedding fair showcases the products and services needed to plan pre-nuptial events, weddings and honeymoons. More than 200 wedding experts will be on hand. The fair features the latest in ideas for favors, custom invitations, gifts and decorating. The fashion show features wedding party styles and is repeated throughout the day.
