Take time to enjoy the Holidazzle parade
As you’re making holiday plans, be sure to make time to enjoy one of the Holidazzle parades. The Holidazzle parade features characters marching in lighted costumes, illuminated floats, marching bands, celebrity grand marshals, and Santa in his sleigh.
This year, the Target Holidazzle runs Thursday through Sunday until Friday, Dec. 23. Each parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and lasts about 30 minutes. The parade travels northbound on Nicollet Mall from 12th Street to 4th Street.
The Holidazzle parade began in 1992 and is an annual Downtown Minneapolis tradition. Parade-goers are asked to bring a food or cash donation to benefit the Emergency Food Network. Donations are collected before the parade and during the parade when the Circus Train chugs down Nicollet Mall.
