Precincts host open houses in recognition of National Police Week

In recognition of National Police Week, all of the City’s police precincts are opening their doors and inviting their neighbors to drop by to meet officers, crime prevention specialists and the precinct commander. Visitors will be able to tour the stations, see police squad cars and police equipment, pick up crime prevention information and enjoy free snacks.  

National Police Week, which was established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, recognizes the service and sacrifice of U.S. law enforcement. National Police Week occurs each year during the week in which May 15 falls.
