Learn about new Apple iPad service at March 16 drop-in event
The Information Technology department is offering a March 16 drop-in session to answer questions and help interested staff members get started with the City’s new Apple iPad service.

The session will answer questions about the new Apple iPad services available to City departments and iPad owners. No advance registration is required to attend.
Apple iPad services
Under the new City’s new program:
- Departments can purchase a Wi-Fi Apple iPad or Wi-Fi Apple iPad+3G for departmental use. Smart covers, power adapters, wireless keyboards and extended warranties are also available for purchase.
- Users of iPads (both personally owned and department-owned) can sign up for iPad access to work email, calendar, tasks and contacts. Access to VPN, CityTalk and City network drives and folders is also available.
- Departments can purchase Cisco AnyConnect, File Browser, iAnnotate and QuickOffice Pro HD.
