Upcoming events at the Minneapolis Convention Center

The Minneapolis Convention Center is a City-owned, state-of-the-art facility that hosts more than 500 events annually, drawing nearly a million attendees each year. Here are a few of the events that will be held at the Convention Center in the coming weeks.

Auto Show

The 39th annual Auto Show will feature more than $30 million in new vehicles from nearly every manufacturer in the world.

Body Mind Life Expo

The Body Mind Life Expo features natural products, healthy solutions for your home, vacations ideas, personal coaches, nutritional products, and traditional, natural, alternative and preventive health care.

Wedding Fair

The wedding fair showcases the products and services needed to plan pre-nuptial events, weddings and honeymoons. More than 200 wedding experts will be on hand. The fair features the latest in ideas for favors, custom invitations, gifts and decorating. The fashion show features wedding party styles and is repeated throughout the day.

North Star Roller Girls Roller Derby

The Convention Center is home to the Northstar Roller Girls, an all-female skater-owned and operated amateur roller derby league that plays Women's Flat Track Derby. The North Star Roller Girls League is comprised of four teams: the Banger Sisters, Delta Delta Di, Kilmore Girls, and the Violent Femmes.

Pet Expo

The annual Twin Cities Pet Expo features more than 150 exhibits of pet-related products and services for pets and pet enthusiasts, including pet beds, artwork, pet photographers and therapy services. There will also be presentations and contests as well as pets to see and touch. Attendees are asked to leave their pets at home.

Northwest Sportshow

The Northwest Sportshow is a one-stop marketplace for outdoor fun. Visitors can see and board hundreds of boats, explore the latest model RVs and find gear for boating, fishing, hunting, RVing and camping. Talk with outfitters and resort representatives to plan a vacation.
