IT offers drop-in information sessions about new Apple iPad service
The Information Technology Department is offering a series of drop-in sessions to answer questions and help interested staff members get started with IT’s new Apple iPad service.

No advance registration is required to attend any of these sessions.
Apple iPad services
The sessions will answer questions about the new Apple iPad services available to City departments and iPad owners. Under the new IT program:
- Departments can purchase a Wi-Fi Apple iPad or Wi-Fi Apple iPad+3G for departmental use. Smart covers, power adapters, wireless keyboards and extended warranties are also available for purchase.
- Users of iPads (both personally-owned and department-owned) can sign up for iPad access to work email, calendar, tasks and contacts. Access to VPN, CityTalk and City network drives and folders is also available.
- Departments can purchase Cisco AnyConnect, File Browser, iAnnotate and QuickOffice Pro HD.
