Minneapolis closing streets near U.S. Bank Stadium for Sunday’s Vikings game

The City of Minneapolis will close streets around U.S. Bank Stadium for Sunday’s Minnesota Vikings game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. 

Beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, the City will close:

·         Chicago Avenue, from Fourth Street to Sixth Street.

Beginning at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, the City will close:

·         Fourth Street from Park Avenue to Interstate 35W.

·         Norm McGrew Place from Third Street to Fourth Street.

These street closings are for traffic safety and security needs related to a large stadium event. All streets will reopen about one hour after the completion of the game.
