Nominate community members and organizations for Public Health Heroes

Do you know a person or organization that's working to make Minneapolis a healthier place? Nominate them for a Public Health Local Hero award to recognize their outstanding achievements in public health.

In celebration of National Public Health Week, the Minneapolis Health Department would like to recognize the accomplishments of community partners whose service to public health activities transforms and strengthens the lives of our residents and visitors. Public Health Local Heroes hold critical roles in making Minneapolis a healthier place to live, work and play. Please help us recognize their contributions by nominating individuals or organizations.

The application and more information can be found on the Health Department’s website:

Nominations are due Friday, March 7th 2014.
