City leaders considering vision, goals that will guide City work for next four years
The Minneapolis City Council Committee of the Whole heard a staff presentation on Wednesday about the City’s draft vision, values, goals and strategic directions that will guide the City’s work for the next four years. The public is now invited to provide feedback on these documents through Friday, March 14.
Folks interested in providing feedback on the City’s draft vision, values, goals and strategic directions can do so in a number of ways:
- Contact their council member directly - http://www.minneapolismn.gov/council/index.htm
- Online Public Comment: Written comments are encouraged and can be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org from Feb. 19 – March 14. Public comments received during the public comment period will be included as part of a public hearing.
- Public hearing: Committee of the Whole meeting, 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, City Council Chamber, Room 317, City Hall, 350 S. Fifth St.
The City Council Committee of the Whole is scheduled to approve the City’s vision, values, goals and strategic directions at its March 26 meeting. Once approved, these documents will serve as the City’s roadmap through 2017.
