Learn about Southwest LRT station plans at open house

Plans for the Southwest Light-Rail Transit line connecting Downtown to Eden Prairie are shaping up. At an upcoming open house in Minneapolis, you can see where the proposed Minneapolis stations will be and share your thoughts on how they should reflect your community.

Seventeen stations being planned for the Southwest LRT line include five new ones in Minneapolis. For each station, initial concepts have been drafted that include options for riders to connect by walking, biking, taking the bus and driving. Along with getting to see these initial station alternatives, you’ll also have a chance to share your thoughts to help guide further planning.
