City Council begins 2012 City budget consideration

The Mayor and Council have begun the process to finalize a budget for 2012. On Sept. 22 the City Council will begin budget hearings to consider Mayor R.T. Rybak budget proposal. Budget hearings will continue through mid-November, with final approval of the 2012 budget scheduled for Dec. 14. Two public hearings will also be held before the budget’s approval, offering you a chance to comment.

The Mayor’s proposed budget calls for no property tax levy increase in 2012.
