Job Announcement: Community Engagement Manager

The City of Minneapolis’ Neighborhood and Community Relations Department (NCR) is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill one (1) Community Engagement Manager Position.

Primary Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities for the Community Engagement Manager are to (1) act as primary resource for City Departments on community engagement activities and interaction with neighborhood and community organizations, (2) assist the Director in day-to-day department management, and (3) lead the development of the department budget, business plan updates, and performance measures.

Experience: Three (3) years of related job experience.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Urban Studies, Public Administration, Political Science, or a closely related field.

Other Requirements: A flexible work schedule is also required; some night / weekend hours will be necessary.  Incumbent must also be willing / able to travel to community events and neighborhood organization offices.
