Approve application for Historic Variances to allow for the following:
a) The expansion of a nonconforming use beyond the boundaries of the existing zoning lot;.
b) Development on a steep slope in the Shoreland Overlay district; and
c) The proposed addition to be built within the side yard setback (development would be built to the property line and extend onto Minneapolis Park Board land). (Ward 13)

2. Hennepin County Interchange Project (Target Field Station), Hennepin County Vacation 1626:
Approve application to vacate part of 6th Avenue North, south of and adjacent to Block 6, Bradford & Lewis Addition, and part of 5th Street North between 6th Avenue North and Hoag’s Addition, for utilization for roadway improvements as well as future development. (Wards 5 and 7)
3. Hennepin County Interchange Project (Target Field Station), Hennepin County Vacation 1627:
Approve application to vacate part of the southwest half of 5th Street North between 6th Avenue North and the Burlington Northern Railroad bridge, for utilization for roadway improvements as well as future development. (Wards 5 and 7)
4. Sports and Health Facilities (Zoning Code Text Amendment):
Approve ordinances amending Title 20 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Zoning Code, regarding sports and health facilities, as follows:
a) Chapter 520 relating to Introductory Provisions;
b) Chapter 547 relating to Office Residence Districts;
c) Chapter 548 relating to Commercial Districts;
d) Chapter 549 relating to Downtown Districts;
e) Chapter 550 relating to Industrial Districts; and
f) Chapter 551 relating to Overlay Districts.
Chapter 536 relating to Specific Development Standards is Returned to Author.

5. 2924 Grand Avenue South:
Appeal filed by Maze Properties, LLC, of the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment denying an application for a Certificate of Nonconforming Use to establish legal nonconforming rights to a three-unit, multiple-family residence in an existing structure located at 2924 Grand Avenue South in the R2B Two-family District. (Ward 6)

6. Megabus USA, LLC - 247 Chicago Avenue South:
Appeal filed by 903 Washington Partners, LLC, of the decision of the Board of Adjustment granting an appeal of the Zoning Administrator’s determination that bus passenger loading and unloading at the property is classified as a Bus Turnaround under the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances, thus requiring a Conditional Use Permit. (Ward 7)
Previous Action Taken: Postponed (10/01/2013) to the December 9, 2013, Zoning & Planning Committee meeting.
Action Taken: Letter of Withdrawal was Accepted, and the Item was Withdrawn and Removed from the Agenda
