      Approve petition to rezone the properties from the C1 Neighborhood Commercial District, Transit Station Area Pedestrian Oriented Overlay District and University Area Overlay District to the C3A Community Activity Center District for a six-story, mixed use building with 98 dwelling units. (Ward 2)

 2.  Serenity Suites, 2510 4th St N:
      a) Deny petition to rezone the property from the R2B Two-family District to the R5 Multiple-family District to re-establish rights for 11 dwelling units within the existing vacant building;
      b) Approve petition to rezone the property from the R2B District to the R4 Multiple-family District. (Ward 3)

 3.  Zoning Code Text Amendment - Fencing:
      Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 20, Chapter 535 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Zoning Code:  Regulations of General Applicability, lifting the prohibition on chain link fences with slats as a prohibited fence material and permitting chain link fences with certain durable slats that are resistant to breakage and held securely in place (Colvin Roy).

      Staff Report:  None.

      Appeal filed by Tran Muehler from the decision of the Planning Commission granting the following land use applications for a new multi-family, four-story, 30 dwelling unit project (Ward 10):
      a) Variance to the rear yard setback from 11 feet to 4 feet;
      b) Variance to the front yard setback from the established 20 feet 5 1/2 inches to 15 feet;
      c) Variance to the side yard setbacks from 15 feet to 11 feet; and
      d) Site Plan Review.

      Appeal filed by Steven Wells from the decision of the Zoning Board of Adjustment to deny an appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval of a new single family dwelling on the contention that the front yard setback was improperly determined. (Ward 7)
