2. Michael Snow (re 1101 E River Pkwy):
Appeal filed from decision of the Board of Adjustment denying application for variance to reduce the minimum lot area from the required 10,000 square feet to 7,949 square feet in order to allow the conversion from a single-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling.

4. Midtown Greenway Rezoning Study (Zoning Code Text and Map Amendment):
Consider parcels within the study area of Hiawatha Ave to the east (remainder of the study area to be considered 3/25/2010):
a) Approve ordinance amending Title 20, Chapter 521 relating to
Zoning Code: Zoning Districts and Maps Generally, to implement the future land use policies found in the adopted land use plans which address areas surrounding the Midtown Greenway, with the following amendments:
1) Cedar Lake Townhomes, 3411-3449 St. Louis Ave, retain existing R1 zoning;
2) 2622 W Lake Street, retain OR2 zoning;
3) 2915 Dean Parkway, retain existing R6 zoning;
4) 3016 and 3020 Fremont Avenue S, retain existing R3;
5) For all properties in the Central, Powderhorn Park, Midtown Phillips and East Phillips neighborhoods, properties that are recommended for rezoning from R2B to R3 shall retain their R2B zoning;
6) The south end of the 2600 blocks of 29th and 30th Avenue S (2633, 2634, 2636, 2637, 2640, 2641, 2644 29th Avenue S, 2632, 2636, 2642 30th Avenue S, and 2912 27th Street E) deny staff recommendation of R4 zoning and approve OR1 in its stead;
7) Doppler Gear, 2720 30th Avenue S, retain the I2 zoning and add the IL Overlay District;
8) 3145 Dean Court, retain R5 zoning;
9) 2800 block of Xerxes Avenue S, 2800 through 2817 Xerxes Avenue S, both sides of the street, retain the existing zoning (multiple zoning categories);
10) Parking lot for Heart of the Beast, 2933 15th Avenue S, deny staff recommendation of R5 zoning, and retain C1 and do not include the TP Overlay District; and
11) 2900 through 2916 Bloomington Avenue, retain R2B zoning.
b) Find that obtaining consent signatures for the rezoning of properties from residential to commercial in the Midtown Greenway Rezoning Study Area would be impractical (Wards 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13) ( Action Taken 2/18/2010: Approved CPC recommendations, with amendments for area west of Lyndale Ave to City border (Wards 7 & 10); Postponed remainder of study area, with council action postponed until entire study area considered
