Public Hearings
1.   2014 Alley Resurfacing Program:
a)     Approve resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $119,079.15 for the project; and
b)     Approve resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation to authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $119,080 with the bonds to be paid for from special assessments. (Refer to W&M)

2.   LaSalle Ave Street Reconstruction Project (12th St S to 8th St S):
Continue the project approval and assessment public hearing to October 21, 2014 for the LaSalle Ave Street Reconstruction Project.

3.   Ordinance Amendment:
Set a public hearing for July 22, 2014 to consider an ordinance amending Title 11, Chapter 225 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Health and Sanitation:  Garbage and Refuse, expanding the authority of the Department of Public Works Division of Solid Waste and Recycling to provide clean-up and charge for excessive solid waste at residential properties with more than four (4) dwelling units and non-residential properties in the City of Minneapolis. (by Reich)

4.   Special Boulevard Permit - Nice Ride Minnesota:
Approve Special Boulevard Permit application submitted by Nice Ride Minnesota to pave the boulevard at the northwest corner of 11th Ave S and 2nd St S at Gold Medal Park.

5.   Special Boulevard Permit - Mill Quarter Ramp:
Approve Special Boulevard Permit application submitted by Mill Quarter Ramp to pave a portion of the boulevard at 711 2nd St S.

6.   Sodium Hydroxide Feed and Storage System Construction:
Authorize increase to contract with Municipal Builders, Inc. by $65,000, for a revised contract total of $1,335,700, to allow for Change Order #1 for the construction of the Sodium Hydroxide Feed and Storage System at the Fridley Filtration Plant. No additional appropriation required.

7.   Central Ave Detour Agreement with MnDOT:
Authorize execution of a Trunk Highway No. 65 (Central Ave) Detour Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation to establish a detour route on Johnson St during the proposed Central Ave construction. (Refer to W&M)

8.   Nicollet-Central Modern Streetcar Project:
Authorize execution of a contract with ZAN Associates to provide project management and public outreach professional services for the Nicollet-Central Modern Streetcar Project in an amount not to exceed $125,000, for the period July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015. (Refer to W&M)

9.   7th Street Ramp Project:
a)     Authorize acceptance of Transportation Economic Development (TED) Program grant funds in the amount of $6,790,000;
b)     Amend the 2014 Capital Budget to establish the 7th St Ramp Project and increase the appropriation and revenue source to reflect the $6,790,000 grant funds;
c)     Authorize execution of a contract with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to provide professional services for project management, community outreach, and final design related to the 7th St Ramp Project in the amount of $799,700; and
d)     Approve the project layout. (Refer to W&M)

10. Pass-Through Sale of Excess MnDOT Land:
Set a public hearing for July 22, 2014 to consider the acquisition and disposition of excess Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) land to the adjacent property owners at 1812 Franklin Ave SE.

11. Automatic Vehicle Location Pilot Program:
Authorize execution of a Pilot Program Agreement with AssetWorks regarding the use of Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) services in city-owned vehicles, including an agreement to indemnify AssetWorks for any breach of proprietary rights. (Refer to W&M)

12. Orange Line BRT Project:
Approve resolution supporting the development and implementation of the Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service on I-35W from Burnsville to downtown Minneapolis.

13. Bid:
 OP 7959, Accept low bid of Wetland Habitat Restoration, LLC for an estimated expenditure of $384,865 for Stormwater Specialty Vegetation Management. (Refer to W&M)

14. Cedar Ave Sidewalk Modification Project:
a)     Approve resolution ordering the work to proceed and adopting special assessments in the amount of $148,000 for the project;
b)     Approve resolution requesting the Board of Estimate and Taxation to authorize the City's issuance and sale of assessment bonds in the amount of $148,000 for the project; and
c)     Approve resolution ordering the abandonment and removal of areaways located in the public right-of-way that are in conflict with the project. (Refer to W&M)
