 1.   2012 Alley Resurfacing Program:
       a)  Order the City Engineer to proceed with the work and adopt special assessments in the amount of $122,912.14 for the 2012 Alley Resurfacing Program; and
       b)  Request the Board of Estimate and Taxation to issue and sell assessment bonds in the amount of $123,920 for the program.

 2.   Plymouth Ave N Street Resurfacing Project:

      Consider amendments to Title 17, Chapter 455 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Streets and Sidewalks:  Block Events, and Chapter 447 relating to Parades/Races to require that event organizers make provisions for recycling at large block events, parades, and races.   (Hodges)

 4.  Fridley Pump Station No 6 and Softening Plant Exterior Stabilization Project: 
      Authorize execution of Change Order No 1 to the contract with American Masonry Restoration, increasing the contract by $66,215, for a revised contract total of $392,565, to allow for construction contingencies provided as part of the original project budget.  No additional appropriation required.

 5.  33rd Ave SE and Talmage Ave SE Reconstruction Project:
      Authorize amendment to contract with Belair Builders, Inc., increasing the contract by $149,780, for a revised contract total of $635,246, to allow for construction contingencies provided as part of the original project budget.  No additional appropriation required.

 6.  USI Wireless - Pole Fee Agreement Amendment:
      Authorize amendment to the agreement with USI Wireless defining the timeframe and payment method relating to pole fees for the placement of USI wireless devices on City-owned poles.

 7.  MRI Agreement Amendment:
      Authorize negotiation of the terms of an amendment that may include an extension to the existing agreement between Minneapolis Refuse Inc (MRI) and the City of Minneapolis to provide solid waste and recycling collection services for residents in the current MRI service area to allow for the transition to a single-sort recycling program.

 8.  Single-Sort Recycling Carts RFP:  
      Authorize the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purchase and distribution of recycling carts needed for implementation of the single-sort recycling collection program.

 9.  Single-Sort Recycling Processing and Marketing RFP: 
      Authorize the issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the processing and marketing of recyclables from single-sort recycling collection.

10.  Bids:
       a)  OP 7630, Accept only bid of HD Supply Waterworks, for an estimated annual expenditure of $450,000, for replacement hydrants for the Water Treatment & Distribution Division; 
       b)  OP 7642, Accept only bid of Brown Traffic Products, Inc, for an estimated expenditure of $61,183, to furnish accessible pedestrian signaling systems for the Traffic & Parking Services Division; and
       c)  OP 7644, Accept low bid of Omni-Midwest, Inc., for an estimated expenditure of $78,750, for concrete slab replacement - activated carbon tank for the Water Treatment & Distribution Division.

          Approve resolution recognizing the month of September 2012 as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in the City of Minneapolis.  Approval will allow Mn/DOT to move forward with the request of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance to light the 35W Bridge in recognition of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
