1. License Applications:

Grant Licenses recommended for approval.

2. Space (400 3rd Av N):

Approve Business License Operating Conditions relating to Place of Entertainment License.

3. Doubletree Minneapolis (1101 LaSalle Av):

Approve License Settlement Conference recommendations relating to On-Sale Liquor Class A with Sunday Sales License.

4. Airport Connect (2010 E Hennepin Av):

Approve License Settlement Conference recommendations relating to Taxi Service Company License.

5. Karma (315 1st Av N):

Approve License Settlement Conference recommendations relating to On-Sale Liquor Class A License.

6. Property at 2222 4th St N:

Refer matter to Nuisance Condition Process Review Panel to consider new information in light of the Court of Appeals decision and to forward a recommendation regarding the nuisance status of the property.

7. 1626 3rd St NE:

Nuisance Condition Process Review Panel recommendation to uphold the Director's Order and demolish the property.

Action Taken:  Postponed to April 4th Meeting.

8. Thinc.Green MSP Steering Committee:

Approve appointments.

9. Administrative Issuance of Licenses:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 13, Chapter 259 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations: In General, amending Section 259.30, to add additional license categories to be eligible for administrative issuance of license (Glidden).

Action Taken: Public hearing set for March 21st Meeting.

10. Areaways:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 5, Chapter 95 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Building Code: Projections and Encroachments, adding new language related to areaways, requiring compliance with the building code, and setting inspection schedules (Glidden).

Action Taken: Public hearing set for March 21st Meeting.

11. Off-Sale Liquor Distance Requirements:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 14, Chapter 362 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Liquor and Beer: Liquor Licenses, amending and clarifying spacing regulations applicable to "off-sale" license spacing requirements (Tuthill).

Action Taken: Ordinance returned to author.

12. Outdoor Areas:

Subject matter of an ordinance amending Title 14, Chapter 360 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Liquor and Beer: In General, amending regulations applicable to outdoor areas and establishing capacity limits and specific hours of use (Tuthill).

Action Taken: Referred to Staff.

13. Green and Healthy Rental Licensing Standards:

Subject matter of the following ordinances amending Title 12 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Housing

a. Chapter 244 relating to Maintenance Code, creating a furnace and boiler safety check and energy audit requirement for certain rental properties and repealing sections 244.680 and 244.685 (Johnson).

b. Chapter 240 relating to Lead Poisoning Prevention and Control, adding a requirement for a lead clearance inspection for certain rental properties and amending requirements related to lead safe work practices (Johnson).

Action Taken: Approved Chapter 240 Ordinance and Revised Chapter 244 Ordinance

14. Tiered Rental License Inspections:

Report on systematic rental license inspections based on the management and maintenance of the property.

Postponed

15. Tobacco Licensing:

Ordinance amending Title 13, Chapter 281 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations: Tobacco Dealers, prohibiting indoor smoking of tobacco samples in exclusive tobacco shops (Glidden).

16. Hours of Operation:

Subject matter of the following ordinances amending Title 13 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Licenses and Business Regulations:
a) Chapter 259 relating to In General (establishing permitted hours open to the public in the business licensing regulations); and
b) Adding a new Chapter 309 creating an extended hours of operation license. (Schiff)

Public Hearing to be held March 21st Meeting.
