1.    Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights appointments (16-01523)

Confirmation of Mayoral and approval of City Council appointments to the Minneapolis Commission on Civil Rights, as follows:

1.    Naida Medicine Crow, Ward 6, for Seat 5 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2017.

2.    Bernadette Casey, Ward 8, for Seat 6 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2017.

3.    Taylor Crouch, Ward 7, for Seat 15 (Council) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2019.

4.    Emma Olson, Ward 8, for Seat 16 (Council) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2019.

5.    Thomas Harmon (Attorney), Ward 11, for Seat 18 (Council) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2019.

2.    Police Conduct Oversight Commission appointments (16-01524)

Confirmation of Mayoral and approval of City Council appointments to the Police Conduct Oversight Commission, as follows:

1.    Luke Davis, Ward 3, for Seat 1 (Council) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2018.

2.    Jeffrey Wade, Ward 13, for Seat 5 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2018.

Action Taken:  Approved.

3.    Police Conduct Review Panel appointments (16-01525)

Confirmation of Mayoral and approval of City Council appointments to the Police Conduct Review Panel, as follows:

1.    Mary Aho, Ward 10, for Seat 2 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2020.

2.    Donald Bellfield (Reappointment), Ward 8, for Seat 5 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2020.

3.    Ngoc Nguyen (Reappointment), Ward 8, for Seat 6 (Mayoral) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2020 .

4.    Theresa Cattouse, Ward 5, for Seat 9 (Council) with a term beginning Jan. 1, 2017 and ending Dec. 31, 2020.

Police Department

4.    Contract with CornerHouse Interagency Child Abuse Evaluation and Training Center for forensic evaluation services (16-01623)

Authorizing a contract with CornerHouse Interagency Child Abuse Evaluation and Training Center for conducting forensic evaluations of children and vulnerable adults, in an amount up to $525,380, for the duration of Jan. 1, 2017 through Dec. 31, 2019 (Refer to WM).

Action Taken:  Approved and referred to WM.

5.    Application to Minnesota Department of Public Safety Office of Justice Programs (OJP) for sex trafficking and training grant (16-01624)

1.    Authorizing submittal of an application to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety OJP for a Sex Trafficking and Training grant for the development of a Statewide Sex Trafficking Resource Portal.

2.    Authorizing a Memorandum of Understanding with Washington County Attorney’s Office and Saint Paul Police Department to provide training, case consultation, technical assistance, and advocacy/coordination information through the development of the Statewide Sex Trafficking Resource Portal (Refer to WM).

Action Taken:  Approved and referred to WM.

6.    Camera equipment acceptance for Minneapolis Police 3rd Precinct from Ventura Village Neighborhood Organization (16-01625)

Passage of Resolution accepting the donation of camera equipment from the Ventura Village Neighborhood Organization for the 3rd Precinct undercover operations estimated at $1,725 (Refer to WM).

Action Taken:  Approved and referred to WM.
