1.    Body-Worn Camera Implementation Program grant award (15-01303)
1.    Accepting grant in the amount of $600,000 from the U.S. Department of Justice for the implementation of the Police Department’s Body-Worn Camera Program.
2.    Passage of Resolution approving appropriation to the Police Department (Refer to W&M).
 
Action Taken: Approved.
2.    National Initiative for Building Community Trust and Justice Multi-Strategy Coordinator grant award (15-01304)
1.    Accepting grant in the amount of $120,000 from the U.S. Department of Justice-Bureau of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) for the implementation of a new National Initiative Multi-Strategy Coordinator position.
2.    Passage of Resolution approving appropriation to the Police Department (Refer to W&M).
 
Action Taken: Approved.
Office of Emergency Management
3.    2015 Urban Area Security Initiative grant (15-01305)
1.    Accepting the 2015 Urban Area Security Initiative grant in the amount of $990,000 from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
2.    Passage of Resolution approving appropriation to the Office of Emergency Management (Refer to W&M).
 
Action Taken:  Approved.

Receiving domestic violence update report featuring the Domestic Violent Hot Spots Pilot Project in the 4th Precinct.
