Police Department
1.   Cadet/Recruit Training (15-00274):
Accepting proposal from Hennepin Technical College for Police training services for cadet/recruit training to be conducted in the Spring of 2015 for up to 32 pre-selected Police Cadet/Recruit candidates and authorizing a contract for services, for an estimated maximum amount of $94,000 (Refer to W&M).
Action Taken:  Approved.
2.   Fraud Detail Overtime Reimbursement (15-00275):
Authorizing a contract with the Minnesota Department of Commerce to reimburse the Mpls Police Department for overtime costs in an amount up to $2,500, for participation on a fraud task force; Approving budget appropriation (Refer to W&M).
Action Taken: Approved.

3.   Contract Compliance Division Reporting (15-00276):
Receiving and filing the 2014 4th Quarterly and Annual Summary Report.
Action Taken:  Received and filed. Department of Civil Rights staff directed to research and identify the best practices and processes used on the projects in Minneapolis and the region that have been most successful in meeting workforce and business inclusion goals. This should include processes used by successful contractors as well as those used by other regional agencies that provide enforcement and oversight for business and workforce inclusion programs in Minnesota. Staff directed to report back on or before July 29, 2015, with recommendations regarding the improved use of best practices in Minneapolis.
4.   Office of Police Conduct Review (OPCR) (15-00277):
Receiving and filing the 2014 Year Report.
Action Taken:  Received and filed.
