1.   Charter Department Head Reappointments:
Set public hearing for March 19, 2014, to consider the following charter department head reappointments by the Executive Committee, for two-year terms beginning January 2, 2014:
a) John Fruetel, to the appointed position of Chief of Fire Department;
b) Velma Korbel, to the appointed position of Director of Civil Rights.

2.   School Bus Donation:
Accept donation of a used school bus from the Minneapolis School Board to the Minneapolis Fire Department for use in cadet training (Also in W&M).

3.   Fire Stations 15 & 22 (2701 Johnson St NE & 3025 Market Pl):
Authorize new lease with Hennepin Healthcare Systems, Inc for use of space within Fire Stations 15 & 22 for ambulance storage (Also in W&M).

4.   2013 State Homeland Security Grant Program:
Authorize accept grant funds & execute agreement with the Minnesota Homeland Security & Emergency Management in the amount of $27,800; Approve budget appropriation (Also in W&M).

5.   Minnesota Timberwolves Bomb Security Services:
Authorize contract agreement with the Minnesota Timberwolves to receive bomb security services for basketball at the Target Center; Approve budget appropriation increase of $17,000 (Also in W&M).

6.   U.S. Department of Justice-Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS):
Update report on City Council action of 12/13/2013 relating to approval of request by Police Department to execute a three-year grant agreement in the amount of $1,250,000 in federal grant funds with the US Department of Justice - COPS for provision of 10 officers, subject to the adoption of the 2014 Mayor’s Recommended Budget, as amended. An estimated local match of $2,250,000 is required over the life of the three-year grant and for an additional one year to comply with terms of the award, which will be identified yearly during the award period. The estimated maximum local match will be:
            2014    $420,000
            2015    $435,000
2016    $455,000
2017    $940,000
