Regulatory Services 

1.  Animal Care & Control Donations:
     Approve resolution accepting in-kind donations for dog & cat food & supplies (Also in W&M/Budget).

Police Department  

2.  Leadership Training:
     a)  Authorize contract amendment with Partners in Leadership, Inc, increasing by $12,000;
     b)  Authorize waiver of City Travel Policy, along with other travel specifications added to the contract (Also in W&M/Budget).

3.  Security Services at Gopher Football Games:
     Authorize acceptance of funds & contract with University of Minnesota, $16,000, to provide security at TCF Bank Stadium; Approve budget appropriation (Also in W&M/Budget).

4.  Drug Court Research & Monitoring Services:
     Authorize contract with Hennepin County 4th District Court, $43,000, for a one-year period (Also in W&M/Budget).

5.  2012 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Award:
     Authorize acceptance of grant funding from U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance through Hennepin County, $266,670; Approve budget appropriations (Also in W&M/Budget).

Health Department

6.  Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP):
     Authorize two applications for grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Health, $1,950,000, for 20 months, for continuation of the SHIP Minneapolis & new SHIP innovations funding (Also in W&M/Budget).

7.  SHIP Project:
     Authorize acceptance of SHIP bridge funds from the Minnesota Department of Health, $205,746; Approve budget appropriations (Also in W&M/Budget).

8.  Public Health Advisory Committee:
     Approve City Council appointment of Birdie Cunningham (Ward 11 representative) to fill unexpired term of Robert Burdick, which expires 12/31/2013.
