Regulatory Services

1.  Dangerous Animals:
     Consider ordinances amending Title 4 of the Mpls Code of Ordinances relating to Animals and Fowl, amending & adding provisions regarding declaration requirements for declared animals; appeal hearing procedures for declared animals; ordinance clarification; restriction period; fees; & eliminating midterm check (by Samuels):
      a) Chapter 64 relating to Dogs, Cats, Ferrets, and Rabbits; & 
      b) Chapter 66 relating to Rabies Control.

      Action Taken: Approved. Direction to staff to ascertain animal hearing notification information to ensure notices indicate a person has the right to representation at the hearing.

2.  Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee (CJCC):
     Authorize amendment to agreement with CJCC to extend term of agreement to 1/31/2016, with total compensation not to exceed $75,000 (Also in W&M/Budget).

3.  Animal Care & Control Donations:
     Approve resolution accepting in-kind donations of dog & cat food & supplies (Also in W&M/Budget).

Police Department

4. Jail Fees:
    Authorize amendment to contract with Hennepin County Sheriff for fees charged for Police detainees booked at the jail; authorize necessary documents (Also in W&M/Budget).

Health Department

5.  Minnesota Campus Compact:
     Authorize annual site agreements for 2013-2015 with MN Campus Compact to continue as a host site for a College Health Corps AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer to work in the School Based Clinic program, with anticipated expenses not to exceed $15,000.
