1. Animal Care Donations:
Resolution accepting donations of dog and cat food and treats, pet apparel, and animal care items from the following individuals and groups
Laura Westgate; Remington Edwards; Jill Lubac; Dianne Stadherr; Kim Herron; Staff at Solid Gold; Mary Wick; Anonymous; Laurie Balzer; and Amy Angrimson. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

2. Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Grant:
Amend contracts with the following community partner agencies for Healthy Homes assessment and supplies distribution to low-income families with children under the age of 6 living in North and South Minneapolis, and extend the contract termination date to August 31, 2012
Sustainable Resources Center - $195,000; ClearCorps USA Inc - $175,000; and Southeast Asian Community Council Inc - $75,000. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

3. Electronic Health Records System:
Execute amendment to contract with NextGen Healthcare Information Systems to modify/clarify the calculation of provider licenses portion of the agreement for use of their electronic health record and practice management systems at no cost to the City. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

4. Fire Prevention & Safety Grant Program:
Authorize submit grant application to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) seeking the following:
a) 50 iPad computers with FireHouse Inspector software;
b) 2,000 lithium battery operated smoke detectors;
c) printed educational material on fire safety for the high-risk population. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

5. Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Program:
Accept $46,390 and execute grant agreement with Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Office of Justice Programs, to purchase crime laboratory equipment and supplies, training, and the annual costs associated with accreditation, and approve appropriation. (Refer to W&M/Budget)
