APPROVAL OF AGENDA

The commission may take action on items as part of a consent agenda at the beginning of the meeting. In these instances, the commission president will open the public hearing at the beginning of the meeting and will ask whether anyone would like to provide testimony or express concerns about items recommended for the consent agenda. Review of the following tax increment financing plan modifications for consistency with the comprehensive plan:

a)       Modification No. 3 to the West Side Milling District TIF Plan

b)      Modification No. 2 to the Heritage Landing Apartments TIF Plan

c)       Modification No. 1 to the Historic Milwaukee Depot Reuse TIF Plan

d)      Modification No. 2 to the Stinson Technology Campus TIF Plan

e)      Modification No. 2 to the Former Federal Reserve TIF Plan

f)        Modification No. 1 to the East Hennepin & University TIF Plan

g)       Modification No. 3 to the Grant Park TIF Plan

h)      Modification No. 3 to the Ivy Tower TIF Plan

i)        Modification No. 2 to the East River/Unocal Site TIF Plan

j)        Modification No. 4 to the Consolidated Redevelopment TIF Plan

Recommended motion: Approve the staff report – the item is consistent with The Minneapolis Plan for Sustainable Growth.

A.      Comprehensive Plan.

Recommended motion: Forward the Minneapolis 2040 Comprehensive Plan to the Minneapolis City Council for consideration and action.

·         Recommendations of the Planning Commission on public hearing items are only forwarded to the Zoning and Planning Committee of the City Council for applications for rezonings, street or alley vacations, Zoning Code text amendments, and comprehensive plan amendments. Planning Commission decisions are final on all other items unless appealed.
