Sick and Vacation Leave Benefits Policies Workgroup

Motion by Palmisano to establish a Sick and Vacation Leave Benefits Policies Workgroup, based on the considerations included in the recently completed Internal Audit Employee Separation Analysis and the City’s efforts around Safe and Sick Time, to examine the benefits and risks in the City’s current sick and vacation leave policies in order to determine if modifications are warranted. The Workgroup will be led by the City Coordinator’s office in coordination with City Departments (including Human Resources, Finance and the City Attorney’s office) and representatives from appropriate labor organizations, in consultation with the Director of Internal Audit, and report back to City Council by November 4, 2016.
