1. Title 23 Minneapolis Code of Ordinance Text Amendment (Widmeier)
Amending Title 23 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances related to Heritage Preservation as follows: Amending Chapter 599, Heritage Preservation Regulations, to extend the length of time for which a decision from the zoning administrator, planning director, Heritage Preservation Commission, or City Council is valid.
Action: The Heritage Preservation Commission adopted staff findings and approved the heritage preservation code text amendment to Chapter 599, Heritage Preservation Regulations.

2. 5034 Oliver Avenue North (BZZ #26451, Ward: 4) (Hanauer)
Mark W. Bollinger on behalf of the Minneapolis Public Schools submitted an application for the Demolition of an Historic Resource to allow for the demolition of Shingle Creek Elementary School at 5034 Oliver Avenue North.
Action: The Heritage Preservation Commission adopted staff findings and denied the demolition of Shingle Creek Elementary School at 5034 Oliver Avenue North, established interim protection; and directed the Planning Director to prepare or cause to be prepared a designation study.
Aye: Tableporter, R. Mack, Lindberg, Hunter Weir, Faucher, Larsen
Nay: Kelley, Haecker
Absent: Lackovic and L. Mack
3. 2501 Golden Valley Road (BZZ #27371, Ward: 5) (Hanauer)
Kellie Jones on behalf of the City of Minneapolis Problem Properties Unit submitted an application for the Demolition of an Historic Resource to allow for the demolition of the apartment building at 2501 Golden Valley Road.
Action: The Heritage Preservation Commission approved the demolition of the apartment building at 2501 Golden Valley Road, but delayed the demolition until December 31, 2012, to allow parties interested in preserving the historic resource an opportunity to act to protect it.

4. 2nd Quarter 2012 Demolition Report (Smoley)
Receive and File 2nd Quarter 2012 demolitions.
