1.  2707 ½ East Lake Street, Town Talk Diner, Historic Resource

CPED-Planning on behalf of the Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission is requesting an extension of interim protection for an in-progress landmark designation study.
Recommended Motion: The Department of Community Planning and Economic Development – Planning Division recommends that the Heritage Preservation Commission adopt staff findings and approve the extension of interim protection for 2707 ½ East Lake Street for six months until September 1, 2012.
2.   1779 Emerson Avenue South, Pierson-Wold House, Individual Landmark
(BZH #27210, Ward 7) (Aaron Hanauer) (Staff Report)
Bryan Horton, of Renewal by Anderson, submitted a Certificate of Appropriateness application to allow for the replacement of eight windows on the Pierson-Wold House at 1779 Emerson Avenue South, a local historic landmark.
Recommended Motion: The Department of Community Planning and Economic Development – Planning Division recommends that the Heritage Preservation Commission adopt the findings and deny the Certificate of Appropriateness for window replacement on the Pierson-Wold House at 1779 Emerson Avenue South, a local historic landmark.

3.   National Register Nomination for the Lincoln Bank Building located at 730 Hennepin Avenue
(Ward 7) (Beth Elliott) (Staff Report)
Recommended Motion: The Department of Community Planning and Economic Development – Planning Division recommends that the Heritage Preservation Commission adopt the report, approve the nomination contingent on inclusion of additional research as identified, and direct staff to transmit the report and a letter summarizing the report to the State Historic Preservation Officer.
