1. Community Emergency Preparedness:
Accept $5,000 from Greater Twin Cities United Way to provide ten mini-grants of $500 each to community based organizations; and Approve appropriation. (Refer to W&M/Budget)

2. Public Health Emergency Preparedness:
Execute Cooperative Agreement with Metropolitan Airports Commission and the Counties of Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, Washington and the City of Bloomington to authorize a Regional Distribution Node on MAC property of federal stockpiles of medical materials in the event of a public health emergency.

5. Minneapolis Economic Recovery Strategy – Energy Conservation Block Grant Allocation to the City of Minneapolis:
a. Authorize submit application to United States Department of Energy seeking $3.9 million in EECBG funds to support proposed activities by June 25, 2009.
b. Authorize staff to make such modifications as indicated by further guidance by the Department of Energy.
c. Authorize staff to execute grant award. (Refer to W&M/Budget)
